Cats are remarkably resilient animals who are more than capable of living happy and full lives even if they only have one eye. Many of these one-eyed wonders had to have one of their eyes removed after contracting a severe infection or receiving irreversible trauma, usually before they were adopted or rescued by their current families. While one-eyed cats may take a little while to adapt after having one of their eyes removed, they eventually adjust and go on to run, jump, and play just like their two-eyed counterparts.

Not only are these one-eyed wonders incredibly cute, they're also truly inspiring -- these special cats are great examples for people who need help overcoming adversity and coping with life's many challenges.
